BERRY BEET SMOOTHIE BOWL
This smoothie bowl is exploding with nutritional goodness and flavour!
Berries are high in fibre and antioxidants, avocados provide healthy fats and camu camu is an excellent source of vitamin C.
But lets not BEET around the bush (sorry I had to)!
Our favourite red root veggie has long been used for it's medicinal properties. Beets have a stimulating effect on the liver, helping the body to detoxify the many toxins we encounter day to day and due to their high fibre and betacyanin content they have also been proven to be very beneficial for the colon. They could even help to play a roll in protecting against colon cancer. Fibre is essential for regular and healthy bowl movements and betacyanin is a powerful antioxidant, helping to fight off free radicals. On top of that, they are also a good source of folic acid, manganese and potassium.
